Introduction to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

Roy S., of the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, provided an overview of the Foundation's operations and goals. Roy described the Foundation as first and foremost a data-driven organization. He said it was important to look at what is really impacting the situation and to work on those areas -- even if that means taking risk.
